Whole Foods Market

  • Denver, CO

BRR collaborated with Whole Foods Market to complete an extensive renovation of an existing store in Denver, CO. The location had been remodeled several times and served a variety of purposes throughout its lifetime. Through careful demolition, we were able to uncover some original architectural features resulting in a beautiful new space. Our project team duly named this project the “treasure box” due to the many discoveries found during demolition. One of the key features uncovered was the existing wood structure which had been enclosed by an acoustical tiled ceiling. The team had the idea to expose the structure completely and restore it to its former glory. What followed was months of close coordination with the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structural consultants, as well as the entire construction team, to revitalize the history of the building.
