Reformation
- Houston, Texas
BRR Architecture collaborated with Reformation to create their new flagship location in The Galleria –the largest shopping center in Houston, Texas and one of the largest in the state. Reformation is known for their curated approach to women’s clothing, and their sustainable mindset influences each store’s design. The BRR team leveraged its retail experience to elevate this 3,029-square-foot flagship store – the new location embodies a modern, natural and sophisticated aesthetic.
The exterior façade establishes a minimalist and earthy aesthetic through the use of white plaster, illuminated signage, large windows and dark frames. Select merchandise is highlighted through elevated window displays; these windows give visibility to the sleek interior design and amplifies natural light within the store.
Inside, limewash paint, wood paneling for wall and shelf displays and flagstone travertine tile that imitates the look of natural stone creates a warm feel. The brand uses hand-held technology for checkout, opening up the space for additional product and an elevated lounge. The sleek fitting room area features vintage lights, personalized lighting and touchscreen-enabled mirrors.
Construction began in May 2025 and Reformation celebrated the grand opening in September 2025. BRR is excited to continue working with the Reformation team and looks forward to opening additional locations in the years to come.
