Taste Buds Kitchen

BRR Architecture worked with Taste Buds Kitchen to create an 1,850-square-foot cooking class venue, catered towards teaching children cooking skills.

The client selected BRR primarily due to the firm’s valuable grocery, kitchen and restaurant architecture experience. The BRR team coordinated equipment fixtures for the back-of-house area, which includes food storage, dishwashers and a washer and dryer combination for routinely washing linens.

The front-of-house class space features a residential-style kitchen with both open storage and closed cabinetry, along with standard appliances including a range, sink and oven. This space also provides room for up to ten tables and mobile shelving to store classroom equipment.

The BRR team had previous experience with the jurisdiction, which helped in creating efficiencies during the design process and confirming leasing details. It managed through an expedited five-week permit schedule and an eight-week construction schedule. Construction began in Winter 2024 and Taste Buds Kitchen held its grand opening in February 2025.
