Escapology

BRR Architecture collaborated with Escapology to create a 3,600-square-foot escape-room entertainment venue in the Town Center Mall in the city of Leawood, Kansas. This location features eight individually-themed rooms, a reception area and a party room that can be reserved for private events.

The existing space was renovated to create a blank canvas, which was utilized to design each escape room, specifically sized to meet franchise standards. BRR completed construction documents within two weeks and navigated the permitting and inspection process quickly, despite a stricter process to navigate due to the area’s jurisdiction.

The BRR team enjoyed a collaborative relationship with the client and was there to answer questions and inquire about the client’s vision for the space. Both teams worked together to finalize plans to complete construction documents quickly to expedite the project’s grand opening.
