Cambria Hotel

This five-story Cambria Hotel is the brand’s first location in Fort Worth, Texas, and one of the first rollouts of the Cambria Express prototype models.

BRR worked closely with the City of Fort Worth and HighSide Companies to adapt the prototype to fit within the tight lot constraints of the dense Medical District neighborhood. The project also included coordination with the local neighborhood groups, which sought a more activated street facing design. This was achieved by elevating the façade design and adding a plaza with additional amenities to better engage the surrounding community. As part of the design process, the BRR team helped evaluate the prototype for improved efficiencies through a detailed value-engineering process — to reduce costs without compromising quality or design intent.

The exterior façade design incorporates thin brick material, large ribbon element with integral lighting and landscaping. The 139-room hotel also features an on-site restaurant and bar, meeting and event rooms and a fitness center.

The BRR team monitored the project throughout the construction phase to ensure the final design aligned with the prototype; the project opened in September 2025. The project’s success reflects a strong collaboration between BRR, the developer and the community – resulting in a hotel that meets brand standards, while enhancing the surrounding district.
