Bentonville Hotel

  • Bentonville, AR

Upon opening, the Bentonville East Central Hotel is designed to be a sought-after location within the Northwest Arkansas Community; its thoughtful design sets the project up to become a lasting destination. In a region known for the beauty of its natural environment, the hotel aims to connect its visitors to the outdoors while providing updated amenities at the center of town.

The design of this hotel draws upon the local landscape and evokes a seamless transition from outside to inside, pulling its language, scale and materiality from other buildings in the district while incorporating biophilic concepts and natural materials from the region. The hotel will feature a sculptural bluff in the central atrium inspired by the natural cliffs along the nearby Buffalo River along with extensive interior and exterior landscaping. Natural wood, locally sourced limestone, and brick permeate the environment while allowing for a distinct identity for each of its two restaurants, bar, event spaces, patios, and hotel services. The two-level entrance creates a space to experience; the natural materials create a perfect backdrop for an event or for guests to come to relax.

In addition to airy guestrooms, bike storage and retail, the hotel offers multiple dining options and public spaces for use by the community. Intentionally engaging with the Bentonville City Square, this project is closely tied with ongoing civic and parks projects aimed at further pedestrianizing the neighborhood.
