We love what we do, and what it takes to get there. From the initial design phases, to the day you take possession, our full-scope services not only get the job done, but get it done right.
We use a collaborative design approach that integrates our clients and their vision throughout the entire process. Our architectural graphics range from traditional media illustrations, to animated walkthroughs, lighting and massing studies, photo-realistic renderings and virtual reality models – all which help our clients better visualize their projects.
Every project begins with due diligence. During the entitlement phase, our project teams research jurisdictional requirements in order to properly plan for zoning, special use permits that may be required, and potential participation in any city commissions or hearings.
Detailed fixture plans are critical to project success for many of our clients. Our studios use Revit to efficiently auto-populate plans, equipment and finish schedules, and regularly identify other tools or equipment our clients can be using to enhance their fixture plans.
Our prototype services extend all scalable levels, from flexible design guidelines, to fully-optioned programs. We continuously develop streamlined processes for program maintenance and document distribution, and use a number of customizable tools to facilitate efficient, comprehensive change management practices.
Our interior designers work with clients and project types in all of our core markets. From programming and space planning, to developing color and materials palettes and FF&E selection, the intent of our clients’ spaces is to create a strong sense of place, and enhance each client’s brand identity.
We approach sustainable design practices with the goal of providing practical solutions that can create long-term value for our clients. Our team is experienced working with varying levels of local, regional and national green building criteria, including LEED and Green Globes.
The brand and identity a space communicates is as important as the walls surrounding it. From ideation and theme development, to print design and environmental graphics, our creative solutions help strengthen clients’ brands in the built environment.
Continually creating innovative solutions requires continually evolving. An early adopter of BIM, BRR demonstrates a steady commitment to keep implementing the latest standards and technologies. Our commitment to keeping our project delivery tools and practices up-to-date continually enhances project collaboration and increases the quality of our construction documents.
Part of our overall design process is delivering high-quality, accurate construction drawings. During the CD phase, we hold regular meetings with our project teams and consultants to complete quality control checks at the 20, 50 and 90 percent completion phases.
We’ve worked in more than 3,000 jurisdictions across the U.S., and supplement our projects with a thorough understanding of jurisdictional planning, zoning and environment requirements. Our ability to expedite the permitting process is a result of establishing long-term relationships with code officials and Authorities Having Jurisdiction.
During the construction process, our project managers act as an extension of our clients to manage the project from ground breaking, through possession and grand opening. Some of the services we provide include responding to contractor RFIs, performing site observation visits, and coordinating owner-driven change directives.
As a Green Globes Enterprise Partner, BRR is an extension of the Green Building Initiative, and is qualified to assess the design, construction, management, maintenance, and/or operation of buildings seeking Green Globes certification.
Our studios have completed more than 1,000 international projects in the last 30 years. Services provided for these projects include architectural design, prototype development, grocery design consulting, architectural partner and consultant training, third-party quality control and peer reviews.
Settlement, moisture, pests, and natural disaster can all be causes of distress that impact existing buildings. Our project team members conduct research and site investigations, and document existing conditions in order to suggest solutions for these types of challenges.
There’s no magic or complicated algorithm to the way we work. We treat our clients like partners, and their projects like our own business. While some projects present unique challenges, we’ve found they can always be overcome through our simplified process to listen, respond, create and accelerate.
