Architectural designers work directly with our clients, studio team members, and engineering consultant partners to create and produce innovative design solutions.  They are actively involved in all project phases, through early schematic design and entitlement stages, through construction document production, construction administration and project closeout.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate materials, building products, constructability and processes
  • Assist in building programming
  • Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, refrigeration and structural engineering disciplines
  • Develop and assist in client and peer presentations
  • Attend project and studio meetings
Qualifications
  • NAAB-accredited architectural degree
  • 0-2 years of related experience and/or training
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Strong communication skills, and willingness to contribute in a collaborative team environment
  • Motivation to research and utilize technology in architectural applications

The Director will take a proactive, strategic leadership role on the Marketing team, and lead the development and implementation of marketing programs designed to elevate BRR’s services and industry presence. This position reports directly to the President and has a high degree of responsibility for strategic direction and hands-on coordination in the delivery of marketing campaigns and client-facing communications.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage internal marketing team
  • Plan, create, and lead BRR's marketing initiatives for brand management, client engagement, employee awareness, and expansion into targeted markets
  • Develop marketing and communication plans for several teams with measurable objectives to meet company goals and programs
  • Develop communications and marketing programs including planning, researching, interviewing, writing, and editing content for website, thought leadership, social media, RFPs and client qualification statements
  • Serve in a marketing advisory role for company management while proposing best practices for plans and projects
  • Keep current with market trends and progressive approaches for marketing and communications
  • Propose new ideas and means to reach stated goals
  • Correspond with employees to keep them informed of company developments while promoting awareness, productivity and a positive brand image
  • Oversee all social media and digital channels
  • Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or journalism (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 10 years’ integrated marketing experience, including thought leadership/content marketing, social media, RFP responses, internal and external communications, and event management
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading and growing a creative marketing team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal / team-building skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and participate on multi-disciplinary teams
  • Ability to work at a detailed level while maintaining an overall project perspective
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to articulate a vision and persuade others through effective communication, both oral and written
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and negotiate with outside vendors to meet goals
  • Excellent research and proofreading skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign
  • Professional services background is strongly-desired
