The Compton Named Finalist in Hospitality Design’s HD Awards

The Compton has been named a finalist in Hospitality Design magazine’s 22nd annual HD Awards in the Midscale Hotel category. The awards recognize excellence in design, honoring some of the most innovative hospitality projects worldwide.

BRR Architecture’s newest independent lifestyle hotel was selected from more than 1,000 project and product submissions. The 142-room hotel, which opened Dec. 9, 2025, in downtown Bentonville, Arkansas, features an all-day café, steakhouse and cocktail lounge. Its design draws inspiration from the Ozark landscape, incorporating natural materials and elements that bring the outdoors inside. A sculptural stone bluff, along with regionally sourced wood and limestone, is integrated throughout the space.

BRR Architecture served as architect of record for the project. Winners will be announced on May 5 in Las Vegas during the HD Expo + Conference.
