BRR Architecture Selected for 2026 Austin Creek Show Lineup

BRR Architecture will present its first installation at Waterloo Greenway’s Creek Show, an annual light-based art exhibition along Waller Creek in Austin, Texas.

BRR’s installation, “Contact,” will reimagine Waller Creek as a site of history, community and human connection, honoring those displaced from the creek they once called home while fostering a new sense of belonging. Three large illuminated sculptural hands will emerge throughout the landscape and respond to touch with changing colors of light. The glowing hands will be constructed of steel rods and semi-opaque panels. The interactive elements will be designed to connect visitors with each other and the creek through a collective experience.

The piece will be on view nightly from Nov. 13–21.
