The Austin BRR office opened in 2016 to collaborate with a number of regional clients across retail, grocery and mixed-use sectors.

Since they are in Austin, the Live Music Capital of the World, music is a core part of the office culture. An integrated speaker system connects to the office record player, playing music in lieu of traditional white noise. They also feature records on the wall and do “Vinyl Wednesday” every other week.

On the weekends, teammates can be found smoking award-winning brisket, paddleboarding on Lake Travis, or seeing a show. The team enjoys its access to diverse cuisine, including local farmers’ markets, many food trucks, and of course, its distinct BBQ style. Austin’s BBQ team maintains a friendly rivalry with the Kansas City office BBQ team.

BRR Austin teammates enjoy volunteering with organizations that uplift the community, such as the Central Texas Food Bank and Austin’s Community-First Village.
