BRR’s McKenzie Samp Named 2026 VMSD Designer Dozen
Congratulations to BRR Architecture’s McKenzie Samp AIA who was recently recognized as a 2026 Visual Merchandising Store Design Magazine (VMSD) Designer Dozen. This honor celebrates the best and brightest young retail designers in the industry from around the world.
At BRR, McKenzie manages Whole Food Market projects at the program level, working closely with the client to execute projects from start to finish. Her experience led to her involvement on complex projects such as Whole Foods’ One Wall Street, Manhattan West, Midtown Miami and the rollout of the latest small-format Daily Shop concept. She has been with BRR since 2017.
VMSD Editor-in-Chief Carly Hagedon says, “Our annual class of Designer Dozen winners represent rising stars who are not only outstanding designers and visual merchandisers but are also expending what it means to make an impact, whether that’s through mentorship, volunteer work or giving back.”
McKenzie and other recipients will be recognized at the 2026 International Retail Design Conference in Las Vegas in October. VMSD magazine is the leading publication for retail designers and store display professionals, serving the retail industry since 1897.
