In our company-wide meeting earlier this summer, three outstanding employees were recognized with our bi-annual BRR Awards.
The Visionary Award recognizes individuals who personify BRR’s mission, vision and methods. These individuals are leaders, team players, strive for excellence and continually exceed expectations. We’re proud to honor Matt Brown as our June 2016 Visionary Award winner.
Matt has been with BRR for six years, and is an indispensable component of our IS team. “When asked to look into something, he doesn’t just give you the answer to the question you asked, he also gives you the answers to questions you didn’t even know you should have asked,” said Vice President Robert Ciston. “When tasked with figuring out a new concept, he doesn’t just give you the basic functions, but always includes the features that make it invaluable.”
The Emerging Professional Award recognizes team members with five or fewer years of experience who demonstrate a strong commitment to becoming well-rounded professionals. Recipients of this award have proven themselves to be valued assets to their teams. They seek and accept new challenges, and embrace our collaborative, team-oriented approach. This summer, BRR recognizes Austin Abbott with the Emerging Professional Award.
Austin is a Project Manager in our Bentonville office, and just recently celebrated his 5-year anniversary with BRR. “Austin truly embodies the spirit of the Emerging Professional in his thirst for knowledge, and commitment to continual improvement of our team and himself,” said John Frank, Senior Vice President and Principal in Charge of our Bentonville team. “Austin is always on the lookout for ways to improve his understanding of our field and its practices, and takes the time to mentor others throughout the company, ensuring a better understanding of the tools we use and the processes we follow.”
Like the man it’s named for, recipients of the Bob Jarvis Quality Award display an exceptional commitment to quality in every aspect of their roles. These individuals are essential to maintaining and continually advancing the quality of our work, professionals, and team as a whole. We’re pleased to share that Crystal Jordan has been named our most recent Bob Jarvis Quality Award winner.
Crystal is part of our administrative staff, and is, “the glue that holds us all together,” said Chief Operating Officer Rich Majors. She has been with the firm for 11 years, and plays an integral role in the operations of BRR. Working with multiple teams on a daily basis, Crystal takes the time to ensure everything she touches is 100 percent complete and correct. She is someone known for taking initiative, and is extremely adaptable, handling new processes with the utmost quality.
Congratulations, Matt, Austin and Crystal!
