The year 2013 marks a significant milestone for BRR Architecture, Inc., as we celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary.
The firm was founded in 1963 as Franklin Frieze Architects in Kansas City, Mo., by Bill Franklin and C.I. Frieze. Since then, we have grown to more than 200 professionals across BRR’s eight regional offices, and our portfolio of work has expanded into a diverse portfolio of projects. While our work, structure and leadership have evolved throughout the years, we pride ourselves on maintaining the values we were founded on – to provide exceptional service, develop and maintain long-term relationships, and strive for the continual development and improvement of our services and ourselves.
To celebrate BRR’s 50th anniversary, our entire company will be supporting 50 community service projects in 2013. Projects will include acts of service, sponsorships of charitable events, donation drives for local non-profits, and efforts to raise awareness for organizations with special meaning to BRR employees.
“The immense growth that BRR has experienced in the last 50 years is truly amazing,” said James Hailey, President/CEO of BRR. “We considered throwing a big party to celebrate, but ultimately we wanted to do something that would be more lasting, with more meaning for our staff and our company. Community giving has always been an important aspect of our culture and this is an opportunity for all of our team members to get their hands dirty, support the communities we work in and join together as a company.”
