Our vision at BRR is to develop and establish a premier architectural firm to do business with and be employed by. We’ve been fortunate to grow tremendously over the past few years, and we’re proud to continue to serve as trusted advisors to our clients.
Our ‘headquarters’, so to speak, has been in its current location for almost 30 years. While many of our other office locations have had recent facelifts, we knew our home office needed a change.
It’s my pleasure to announce in the first quarter of 2020, our Kansas City team will be moving to the soon-to-be-built Avenue 82 office building in Overland Park, Kansas.
We worked closely with our client EPC Real Estate Group in making this new building a reality. Our team has served as the lead designer for the 70,000 square foot building, which will feature 67,529 square feet of office space, a community room, a double-height lobby and a fourth-floor patio and event space.
When weighing future locations for our new home, we took into consideration where our current staff members live, and sought additional amenities, like restaurants and coffee shops, which would be within walking distance of our office.
Construction on the new building is expected to begin later this quarter, with full completion slated for December 2019.
We look forward to becoming a part of the Downtown Overland Park community. It’s the right fit for our people. We believe we have designed a space which will foster creativity and collaboration, provide flexibility for our employees and support their overall well-being. Above everything else, our culture is centered on supporting our people, and this new office environment is one more way we can deliver upon that.
