Announcing our newest Principals, Senior Associate, Associates & Director.

BRR Architecture is proud to announce the following recent promotions within the firm.

Robert Ciston, AIA, has been named a Principal and Vice President with BRR Architecture. With over 15 years of architectural design experience, Robert has been instrumental in the development and maintenance for the site adapt and prototype development programs for one of BRR’s largest national retail clients. Robert oversees a team of architects and designers involved in retail developments and also serves as a mentor for some of BRR’s younger staff members.

Mike Galloway, AIA, was recently named a Principal and Vice President with the firm. Mike has been with BRR since 2010 and has 30 years of industry experience working with theater, restaurant, grocery, retail and banking clients nationwide. At BRR, Mike leads the firm’s commercial studio as the team provides entitlement services, prototype design and construction documentation in addition to full site-specific services for private sector projects nationwide.

Brian Roggy, AIA, has been named a Senior Associate with BRR. Brian is a registered architect in the states of Colorado and Wisconsin and has been with BRR for 14 years. Currently, he manages a studio of approximately 25 individuals that specialize in retail/commercial remodel design and tenant improvement projects. Brian has been instrumental in BRR’s effort to improved project efficiency and quality through the use of various technologies.

Zack Marquardt, AIA and LEED AP BD+C, has been named a Senior Associate with BRR Architecture. Zack is a registered architect and has more than 20 years of experience in architectural design and development of restaurant, food service and grocery projects. At BRR, Zack and his team are responsible for the production and management of multiple retail projects in the Central and Western United States.  He is also a leader in architectural and operational design development and coordination of food preparation, kitchen and grocery areas for national grocery store programs.

Gene Slater has been named an Associate with BRR. He has been with BRR for 10 years and works with national clients on new store, take over and expansion projects to incorporate their ideas and needs into the physical environment, from concept through construction completion. In addition to his work with clients, Gene has been instrumental in BRR’s mentoring of younger project managers as part of the firm’s effort to help them understand construction detailing, client interaction and contractor management.

Christian Finn, AIA, is a part of BRR’s San Francisco regional office and has been named an Associate with the firm. He started working for BRR in 2010 and has 20 years of retail architecture, design and project management experience. At BRR, Christian manages the design and production on remodel projects.

Dennis Wilson, AIA, has been named an Associate with BRR Architecture. Dennis has been with BRR for 12 years and previously worked as a program manager for one of BRR’s national retail clients. Based out of BRR’s regional office in Bentonville, Ark., Dennis manages a team of nine individuals and is responsible for maintaining client relationships, managing project schedules and budgets and ensuring quality service.

Megan Whitman, IIDA and LEED AP ID+C, has been named an Associate with BRR. Having been with BRR for six years, Megan has worked on corporate office, banking and retail projects throughout the country. Megan is involved in all stages of the design process, including design programming, design brief, analysis, space planning, research, specification, development, construction administration and installation.

Ryan Rosche, AIA, has been named an Associate with BRR. Ryan has been with BRR for seven years and works with numerous national grocery and retail clients, including Whole Foods Market and Nike. He is currently helping to implement new tools and technologies in BRR’s daily practice and is focused on the widespread adoption of Building Information Modeling among our staff, consultants and clients. Additionally, Ryan is currently serving as a member for AIA Kansas City’s Pillars Steering Committee.

Mike Swift has recently been promoted to Director of I.T. at BRR Architecture. Mike has been with BRR for seven years and previously served in the role of I.T. Manager. His core responsibilities consist of providing direction for BRR’s Information Systems Team as they continue to manage current and implement new technologies used in BRR’s daily practice.
