Chris joined the original Franklin-Frieze Architects in 1984. In 1985, Chris implemented the company's first Computer Aided Design and Drafting system (CADD). By 1990, the company was 100% CADD automated. Then in 1993, Chris became a Principal in the firm. Since then, he has directed the explosive growth of BRR, as we expanded to serve the needs of our key clients. In nearly five decades, BRR Architecture has grown from a small staff of 5 people to nearly 200 employees today.

Chris is a Kansas City native and has spent his entire career working with BRR. He maintains Professional Architectural Registrations in 35 states and is NCARB certified. Chris is a member of the American Institute of Architects. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Kansas.

Chris and his wife, Lisa, have a son Patrick, and a daughter Allyssa. In his spare time, Chris enjoys golf, yard work, and being involved in his children’s activities.
