To assist our Architectural Interns in achieving their goals, BRR maintains a formal in-house Intern Development Program that facilitates the development of our Architectural Interns in all aspects of the firm’s practice. Our in-house IDP is based on the IDP of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and is designed to help our Architectural Interns complete all of the requirements of the NCARB IDP. We ensure that our Interns are exposed to the widest range of experiences and opportunities, as they progress towards becoming Registered Architects.

Financial Support
BRR recognizes that most Architectural Interns are just beginning what we all hope will be a long and rewarding career in architecture. To encourage timely IDP registration, eligible Architectural Interns will be reimbursed the full amount of the IDP registration fee. To further promote their professional growth, BRR provides paid leave for Interns to take each division of the ARE exam. We also provide 100% reimbursement upon successful completion of each division. And, if by chance, an exam division is not passed, the Intern is allowed to request full reimbursement for a failed division one time. Once our Architectural Interns pass the ARE exam sections and have obtained registration as an Architect, BRR rewards them with an automatic salary increase.

AIA Awards and Recognitions
We’ve worked hard to ensure that our Interns and professional staff receive the training and mentorship they need to further their careers in Architecture. AIA has awarded and recognized BRR for our dedication, and we’re proud.
