Our Challenge
BRR Architecture serves our Wal-Mart client by preparing drawings, specifications and supporting documents to construct Supercenters and Neighborhood Markets Stores across the country. Our documents must provide clear and complete directions for the construction of each store - error and omission free.

Our Solution
The challenge is briefly stated, but is very clearly stated to the entire staff, and in particular, to the Quality Control Team. The Quality Control Team of BRR reviews each architectural drawing and descriptive detail; coordinates these documents with BRR prepared specifications, along with the drawings prepared by our independent consultants. The civil engineers, engaged by Wal-Mart, who have been involved very early in each site location, provide information and drawings derived from contacts with local city planning departments and the geotechnical engineers for each site.

BRR's " QC " Team, consisting of our most senior level architects, reviews all of these documents to verify coordination with the architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical engineering documents.

Each Store is planned to conform to the store’s local Building Code, the Federal Guidelines for Accessibility and the associated handicapped details. The QC process verifies that these mandates are fully executed.

The BRR developed exterior design of each store has been considered and approved by the Wal-Mart Staff and the local city planning commission, requiring strict attention as the drawings are produced. The QC Team verifies that the integrity of the design has been thoroughly developed in the drawings, and coordinated in the Consultant's drawings.

The QC Team interacts with the architectural production staff to consult on special details and methods of construction as the drawings are progressing towards completion.

Our Results
The critical and intense checking of the documents and the interaction with the architectural staff has enabled the QC Team to support and be a part of the successful solution on each store.

Wal-Mart's satisfaction in the many procedures during the design challenge and solution is of paramount importance to BRR, and is a result of each member of the staff working closely together to achieve the goal. The QC Team looks for methods to constantly improve our assistance on each project. The constructed Store must be the expected result!
